Accessible Design Tracker.
Lack of any meaningful way to track progress on accessibility for in development features. Need system that both documents issues and creates accountability at high level.
Problem
3 tier badging system that communicates at-a-glance status to a viewer of any feature document. A revamped process that empowers reviewers and stakeholders to confidently schedule iteration or approve features as reviewed by competent authority.
Solution
1~ Month for consultation and development in collaboration with Accessibility design director and other UX leaders.
Time
Accessibility has always been a company ambition, however the ability to track the development of accessible design has always been limited within the organization.
My solution: create a pioneering system that tracked accountability for accessible design through the development of each feature. I worked with the Director of accessibility David Tisserand & Content Director Ahmed Salama.
In its first implementation, the accountability tracker consisted of badges, awarded at multiple milestones in the development process.
Outcome:
I was honored with the comment of “Set the new bar for accessibility at Ubisoft” for my efforts, at Accessibility Checkpoint with HQ.
This system is currently in use internally on several projects and it saving the company thousands in costs per feature by minimizing retroactive fixes.

UX Design Career Path.
Lack of codifed career path for UX and UI staff. Created stalls in career growth and promotions.
Problem:
A branching career path with multiple entry + inflection points. This model is currently in use for the studio to manage career trajectories of UX designers and UI artists.
Solution:
Time:
3~ Months of consultation with both HR teams and design staff, to develop a system that provided both growth and flexibility.
When I joined Ubisoft in 2022, the people and growth team reached out wanting to build out a career path for it’s UX design staff.
While surprised to learn UX was the only team lacking any formal career progression, I grabbed the chance to be hands on with the solution.
My approach was to allows for multiple inflection points during a career; this allows the team to grow and retain the most motivated members while breaking down any walls that make this work seem inaccessible.
Outcome:
X2 flight risk employees retained.
X1 employee promoted to leadership.
X1 promoted to Senior.
1 intern hired and converted to fulltime [Ubisoft NEXT internship programme].
1 Employee transitions from Quality Control to my UX team.
UX Toolkit.
Problem
High cost (time + money) to get UX design solutions for teams without embedded design staffing.
Solution
Create templatizes toolkit for teams looking to build front end infrastructure in order to hit internal milestones. This system is able to provide sufficient support for internal milestones. The intent is for this to be a temporary accelerator until dedicated UX design support arrives.
Time
4~ months towards an on-going development.
An initiative put forward by Content Director Ahmed Salama, I joined this small group of UX designers to build what is now the UX Toolkit.
Its a set of templates, molecular components and UI patterns that can be used internally to accelerate and project’s velocity towards First Playable Prototype; an internal checkpoint with HQ.
Outcome:
I contributed over several months, specifically on the specifications for lists and their behaviors.
This Toolkit is currently available for use within the organization and it continues to grow in usage.
Organizational leadership have praised the effort as being sorely needed and as saving millions in development costs.
